My Background

My passion for mental health and my curiosity for human behaviour, psychology and social justice led me to pursue academia studies at Saint Paul University where I completed my bachelor degree in Human Relations and Spirituality and my master’s degree in Counselling and Spirituality. My training, education and experience have allowed me to foster a curiosity and deepen my desire to support individuals through their journey of self-discovery and healing.

Since 2018, I have been working in the field of mental health. I have had the privilege of working in collaboration with other mental health professionals and individuals who have different presenting problems. My background has been in non-profit organization, hospitals and community-based mental health. By being fluently bilingual, I have had the ability to offer client-centred services in both official languages in order to adapt to the needs of my clients.

My Approach

I am an individual and relationship psychotherapist that offers in-person and virtual services to adults (18+).

My therapeutic style is based on the idea that we are fundamentally social beings who crave deep and meaningful connections with others. Safe and secure relationships, attachment and deep connection can bring healing qualities in one’s life. I cherish and emphasize the importance of our therapeutic relationship to facilitate healing and change in my clients.

In session, I take a collaborative stand with my clients and I incorporate mind, body, and spirit in our work together while using evidence-based approaches to target thoughts, behaviours and emotions. I maintain a holistic view on human functioning and development and consider all parts that make us who we are. I am a humanistic and client-centred therapist and I adjust my style and interventions based on my client’s needs and objectives. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and secure space with warmth, compassion, and empathy to facilitate self-exploration with the aim of increasing self-awareness and gaining meaningful insights. As your therapist, I am here to guide and support you through your healing and self-discovery journey.
